Report of the Medical Officer of Health.
The total number of cases notified was 2,338, (327 in Clapham,
214 in Putney, 523 in Streatham, 411 in Tooting, and 863 in
Wandsworth), compared with 1,748 in 1913, 1,614 in 1912, and
1,949 in 1911.
The next Table shows the rate per 1,000 persons living in the
Borough, in the separate sub-districts, and for the whole of London
for the year and for the previous ten years.
In 1904 and 1911 Chicken-pox was compulsorily notifiable, and
as a consequence the rates in these years are increased, especially,
in 1914.
