273 are dressmakers and milliners, 129 laundries and 93 other
workshops, a decrease of 26 dressmakers' and milliners' premises
and 16 laundries, compared with 1913, while the number of other
workshops is 14 more than in the previous year.
The total number of domestic workshops on the Register was
69 (seven in Clapham, eight in Putney, 20 in Streatham, eight in
Tooting and 26 in Wandsworth), compared with 63 in 1913.
The total number of workplaces on the Register is 357, a
decrease of nine compared with 1913, of which 110 are laundries,
and 247 miscellaneous premises, chiefly dressmakers and milliners.
