299 are dressmakers and milliners, 145 laundries and 79 other
workshops, an increase of nine dressmakers' and milliners' premises
and nine other workshops, compared with 1912, while the number
of laundries are two less than in the previous year.
The total number of domestic workshops on the Register was
63, (nine in Clapham, six in Putney, 27 in Streatham, tour in Tooting
and 17 in Wandsworth), compared with 59 in 1912.
The total number of workplaces on the Register is 366, an
increase of seven compared with 1912, of which 87 are laundries,
and 279 miscellaneous premises, chiefly dressmakers and milliners.
