Three of the deaths occurred at five to 15 years, one at 15 and
under 25 years, 39 at 25 and under 45 years, 158 at 25 and under
65 years, and 151 over 65 years.
The following Table shows the number of deaths according
to the part of the body affected.

In Institutions within the Borough 22 deaths occurred from
Cancer, 10 males and 12 females. Eight of these deaths occurred
in the Hostel of God, two in Tooting Home, one in the Royal
Hospital for Incurables, one in the Fever Hospital, one in H.M.
Prison, and nine in private nursing homes.
115 of the deaths, 54 of males and 61 of females, occurred in
External Institutions, 47 in Workhouses and Workhouse Infirmaries,
and 68 in General and Special Hospitals.
