Two of the cases were notified in April, one each in July,
August and September, four in October, and four in November.
Three of the cases were fatal, and in all the others some permanent
paralysis still exists, although in five of the cases the paralysis is
slight.
The following report on the 10 last cases was laid before the
Public Health Committee and a copy forwarded to the Local
Government Board.
27th November, 1913.
"With reference to the cases of Polio-Myelitis which have been
notified during the last fifteen weeks, I have to report that in all
10 cases have been notified, affecting nine households. No cases
occurred in Clapham, none in Putney, three in Streatham, one in
Tooting and six in Wandsworth. The particulars of the cases are
as follows:—
