Table LXXXII. shows the disposal of the 343 cases of Tuberculosis
at the end of 1913:—

Of the 35 cases who left the Borough, particulars of 27 were
forwarded to the Medical Officer of Health, or the Tuberculosis
Officer of the District to which the patient moved.
In the remaining eight the new address was not ascertained.
One of the patients who died was under observation at the
time, and death was due to a non-tuberculous disease.
The number of cases lost sight of was small, as patients neglecting
to attend are visited to di cover the cause o their non-attendance,
A small number only cannot be traced in this manner.
