The total cost of collection and disposal was .£16,033, compared
with £16,573 for the year ending March 31st, 1909.
117 statutory notices were served under Section 37 of the
Public Health (London) Act, 1891, to provide ashpits in accordance
with the By-laws, and these have been complied with.
Inspection of Milkshops, Cowsheds, &c.
The following Table shows in concise form the number of
milk premises, cowsheds, etc., on the register, the number of
inspections, and the number of cases of legal proceedings during
the year, as well as other information which it has been thought
advisable to group together for the purpose of comparison with
other Metropolitan Boroughs.
