Removal of House Refuse.
During the year ending 31st March, 1910, an alteration has
been made in the system of removal. The whole of the refuse
is now collected and disposed of by contract, with the exception
of a portion from the Balham, Streatham and Tooting
Wards, which is disposed of at the Destructor.
The following Table, taken from the report of the Borough
Engineer, shows the quantity collected and the method of disposal
in the various Wards of the Borough.
