north and south sides for the whole length of this
road, at a cost of £81 3s. 3d.

The kerb has been taken up and re-laid and old granite sett
channel laid on cement concrete on the north and
south sides from Endlesham Road to Balham High
Road (except portion in front of County Council School), at a
total cost of £246 6s. 10d.
At Coronation Gardens the defective agricultural drain in the
footpath leading from Pirbright Road to the gardener's
shelter has been taken up and replaced by
a 4-inch pipe drain, at a cost of £11 18s. 1d.
The flower border from the Pirbright Road Entrance to
Merton Road London County Council School has been removed,
the ground sown with grass, and two full-sized tennis courts
provided, at a cost of £5 3s. 0d.
A portion of Garratt Park has been laid out and used as a
football ground for boys attending the elementary schools in the
adjoining neighbourhood, at a cost of £45 11s. 9d.
In connection with the erection of new Salvation Army
Citadel on the north side, at the corner of York
Road, a piece of land about 84 feet long by 4 feet
9 inches wide has been given up and added to the public way and
paved with artificial stone, at a cost of £20 8s. 5d.
Old granite sett channel has been laid on cement concrete on
the north, south, east and west sides from York Road to Red
Lion Street, at a cost of £45 5s. 2d.

the east and west sides from Frogmore and The
Causeway to High Street, Wandsworth, at a cost
of £65 9s 10d.
The kerb has ben taken up and re-laid and old granite sett

from Alton Road to "Fernbank," at a cost of
£57 2S.0 1d.
