Of the Medical Officer of Health
FOR THE YEAR 1904.
To the Mayor, Aldermen and Councillors of the
Metropolitan Borough of Wandsworth.
Sir and Gentlemen,
I have the honour to present the Annual Report of the health and
sanitary condition of the Borough for the year 1904.
Population.
The population of the Borough for the year, estimated according
to the methods adopted by the Registrar-General was, including public
institutions, 269,583, compared with 256,292 in 1903, an increase of
13,291.
Table I. shows the population of each sub district, correctcd and
uncorrected, as well as that for the whole Borough.
