The food exposed for sale on the barrows and stalls of costermongers
has been inspected, and in every case it was found to be
satisfactory.
SMOKE ABATEMENT.
Numerous observations have been made of the factory chimneys
in the Borough during the year.
Special attention was given to several chimneys of which complaints
had been received
