ERYSIPELAS.
During 1896 ir. Lambeth 18 deaths were registered from
Erysipelas, as compared with 10 for 1895 and an annual
average of 18.4 during the last 10 years (1886—1895).
352 cases were notified, giving a case mortality of 51%
In London, during 1896, there were registered 207 deaths out of a total of 6438 cases notified, giving a case mortality of 3.2% (uncorrected).
