The increase in the number of patients admitted to the
Hospital is almost all accounted for by the larger number of cases
from Hornsey and Wood Green, the figures being for Hornsey 247
in 1913 as against 153 in 1912—an increase of 94, and for Wood
Green 216 in 1913 as against 129 in 1912—an increase of 87. The
cases from Finchley were slightly in excess of last year, 124 in 1913
as against 118 in 1912—an increase of 6. There was also one case
admitted from the Friern Barnet district.
The following table gives particulars of the number of admissions,
deaths, and discharges during the past 8 years:—
