Isolation Hospital.—More patients were admitted to the
Hospital in 1909 than in any year in its history.
As compared with the previous year there were 179 more
patients admitted in 1909, viz.:—673 in 1909 and 494 in 1908
The following table gives particulars of the admissions of
patients in recent years.
From the following tables it will be seen that Hornsey and
Wood Green made use of the Hospital in almost equal degree, 272
cases being admitted from Hornsey and 270 from Wood Green.
While there was a slight increase in the admission of Hornsey
patients, as compared with 1908, the number of Wood Green
patients admitted in 1909 was nearly double the number admittel
from the same district in 1908.

From Finchley 130 cases were admitted in 1909, almost the same number as in the previous year.

At the beginning of the year there were 68 patients in the Hospital, viz., 35 Hornsey patients, 14 from Finchley, and 19 from Wood Green. The cases were:—
