The cases of small-pox referred to in table II. occurred principally
in two houses in Denmark Grove. One of them, a child aged 10 weeks,
unprotected by vaccination, died at No. 10.
Five cases of typhoid fever have arisen in the family occupying
the Lodge in Highbury Place, one has proved fatal. The house is
unfit to be inhabited; it is wholly undrained and the walls everywhere
reeking with moisture. The owner has been served with the
necessary notices for improvement.
