The other articles, 26,439 in number, consisted of soldiers' tunics, overcoats,
and some other garments which were disinfected for a firm of clothing
contractors in the borough, who when exporting them are required to send with
them a certificate from the Medical Officer of Health stating that they had been
disinfected to his satisfaction.
The following statement gives a description of the clothing that was disinfected and the number of articles:—
