Disinfecting Station.—The work done at the Disinfecting Station was
greater, with the exception of the year 1896, than at any other period since its
erection, no less than 62,455 large articles being disinfected, of which number
36,016 had been exposed to infectious disease. These articles are set out in
the following table:—
