Sub-Registration Districts. —The incidence of the infectious diseasesvaried
greatly in the several sub-registration areas, for while the attack rate
was as high as 8 07 per 1,000 of the population in Tollington, and 8.05 in
Islington South East, it was as low as 4.28 per 1,000 in Barnsbury and 4.82
in Lower Holloway. This is the second consecutive year in which the attack
rate has been very low in Barnsbury.
