the City are given.

It vrill be noted with satisfaction that the quality of the milk supplied
in the City still maintains a very high standard. More than 90 per cent,
of all the 944 milk samples were superior to the legal standards and only
1*8 per cent, below it and were thus classified as adulterated.
Legal Proceedings for Adulteration.—Of the 17 cases, 10 were considered
sufficiently serious to warrant prosecution. Details of the offences
and results of proceedings are set out below.
