The causes of death of the Illegitimate were :—Influenza 1, convulsions 1,
pneumonia 1, enteritis 2, syphilis 3, neglect at birth 3, murder 3*,
congenital malformation 1, prematurity 4, debility from birth 1.
The dead bodies of 6 infants were found, and the foundling died in the
Infirmary.
