According to Wards, there was an increase in all the St. George's
group and in St. Margaret's, while there was a decrease in all the
ethers.

Infantile Mortality.—The uncorrected death rate of infants for Westminster
was 91 deaths per 1,000 births registered in the City, against
a rate of 114, the average of the previous ten years.
The corrected rate works out at 83, the average of the previous live
years having been 90, and of the preceding five years 1902-6, 115.
