Sanitary Legislation.
A Bill to amend Part III. of the Housing: of the Working
Classes Act (1890) was passed and received the Royal
assent; it is known as the Housing of the Working Classes
Act (1890) Amendment Act.
Various other Bills, mostly amendments to previous Acts,
were brought before Parliament, but were all withdrawn or
dropped.
Sanitary Work.
For the Year ending December 29th, 1900.
The following report prepared for me by Mr. Albert
Taylor, your Chief Sanitary Inspector, shows the amount
of sanitary work done. I have added the figures for 1899
for comparison:—
