Violent Deaths recorded in the Parish was 90, or 4.95 per

that of last year; but, as usual, considerably higher than
that recorded for London generally, which was 3.78, as
against 3.68 in 1887.

The Inquest cases hold in the Parish numbered 124, or
6.8 per cent. of the total deaths, as against 1.4 per cent. in
London generally. These numbers are almost exactly the
same as those of last year.
The number of deaths uncertified as to cause was only
22, being 2 more than in 1887, and 1.2 per cent. of the
total deaths, as against 1 per cent. for London generally.
