then two horses have been sold by auction, and one destroyed,
and have realized £51 18s. 10d. Three horses
have been purchased, at a cost of £252. The number of
horses in stock, therefore, at the end of the past year
(Lady-day 1879) was twenty-seven; the value of which
I estimate at £2,000.
Stable Arrangements.
The cost incurred, under this heading, in the maintenance
of the Parish Plant, together with the keep of the
above horses, including all labour and expenses for the year
ended Lady-day 1879, has been £4,346 2s., viz.:—
