The following rates were made by the Yestry during the year viz.:—

Poor Rate (including Police and County Rates, and Charges for Public Baths and Wash-houses, Burial Ground at Hanwell, Metropolitan District Asylums, Metropolitan Common Poor Fund, and West London School District)20

A Summary showing the amount of the Rates assessed
and the state of the Collection at the close of the same in
April 1877 is printed in Appendix No. 4.
Out of the General Management Rate, the Vestry have
paid the sum of £26,176 10s. 2d. required by precept of the
School Board for London, for the year ended at Lady-day,
1877.
Up to the 25th March, the payments made by the
Vestry amounted to—
