Street; but those who are in a position to bear the
expenses of their support, should apply at the London
Fever Hospital, Liverpool Road, Islington, where they can
be accommodated on favourable terms.

Summary of Analytical Work for the Year
ending March 31st, 1876.
Milk.—32 samples were analysed, of which 14 were
found to be genuine, 10 of poor quality or skimmed, and
8 watered. Notice of intention to submit for purposes of
analysis was given in four instances, but only one of the
samples was found to be adulterated so as to warrant a
prosecution; in this case a fine of 42s. and costs was
imposed.
Bread.—16 samples were analysed and all found to be
genuine.
