Registrars, after the third week in October. I was thus
deprived for the rest of the year (and am still deprived up
to the present date) of the details of the deaths that occur
in the Parish, and, therefore, of one of my most important
sources of information with regard to the localities in which
various diseases are prevalent.
I am, however, still able, from the Registrar-General's
Weekly Returns, to ascertain the numbers of births and
deaths, and some other important particulars.
