Nuisance from a Cracked Oven.—In this case the owner of
No. 2, Hertford-street, complained of a most offensive smell
pervading the lower part of the house at various times, and
particularly in the evening, on days when a large number of
game pies were being baked for a cook in the neighbourhood.
The oven had been cracked some time ago, in consequence of
the settlement of an old sewer that ran under the house;
