REHOUSING
There was little change in the total number of applicants seeking
the assistance of the Public Health Department for rehousing.
New cases of overcrowding again decreased slightly but considerably
fewer were rehoused, and the total of these cases remaining
on the register at the end of 1955 was more than at the end of the
previous year.
There were slightly fewer cases needing medical recommendation.
