INFLUENZA.
The deaths from this disease during the last five years were as follows:—

CEREBRO-SPINAL FEVER, ENCEPHALITIS LETHARGICA,
AND POLIOMYELITIS.
Eight cases of Cerebro-Spinal Fever were notified during the year,
of which 5 died.
Three cases of Poliomyelitis were also notified, which were sent to
hospital.
ACUTE PRIMARY AND INFLUENZAL PNEUMONIA.
One hundred and sixty-five cases were notified during the year,
of which 63 were removed to hospital.
There were 20 deaths of these notified cases.
CANCER.
The number of deaths during the last five years, together with a table showing the site of disease, for the period 1937 will be found hereunder:—
