OPHTHALMIA NEONATORUM.
21 cases of this disease occurred, as against 21 in 1926.
These cases were all visited by the lady Assistant Medical Officer
and Health Visitors.

CEREBRO-SPINAL FEVER, ENCEPHALITIS LETHARGICA
AND POLIO MYELITIS.
6 cases of Cerebro-Spinal Fever were notified during the year,
four of which died.

notified during the year. One case of Polio-Encephalitis died.
ACUTE PRIMARY AND INFLUENZAL PNEUMONIA.
310 cases were notified during the year. 262 of these were removed
to hospital or infirmary. There were 89 deaths of these notified cases.
PUERPERAL FEVER.
12 cases were notified during the year, with 3 deaths.
PUERPERAL PYREXIA.
69 cases have been notified. 47 were removed to hospital and 22
kept at home.
