In 1925 there were 2,068 cases notified with 28 deaths. 26 of these
deaths occurred in infants under the age of 5 years, and although the
disease was of a mild type, the epidemic continued until the end of the
year.
German Measles also occurred in a considerable number of cases.
Each case was visited by a Health Visitor. No special measles
nurse was employed. In all cases where death has occurred the room,
clothing and bedding were disinfected.

DIARRHŒA.
There was, as in the other notifiable diseases an increase in
Diarrhoea and enteritis, but the number of deaths was the same as in
1924.
The disease was not so severe in type, which was probably due to
the cool summer.
