The following defects were discovered by the Inspector, who found
it necessary to serve 21 intimation and 6 statutory notices in order to
obtain the abatement of the nuisances complained of:—
Walls dirty 15 cases
Ceilings dirty 14 „
Floors dirty 12 ,.
Utensils dirty 2 „
Oven front dirty 1 case
Accumulation of dirt under troughs 2 cases
Flour store dirty 3 „
Animals in bakehouses 3 „
Floors defective 4 „
Ceilings defective 2 „
Stairs dirty 1 case
Yard dirty 1 „
Damp walls 1 „
Oven front defective 1 „
Total 62 cases
All the above.mentioned nuisances were remedied.
Each bakehouse was limewashed or the walls washed at least twice
luring the year.
