The following defects were found by the inspector: -

It was found necessary to serve a notice in one instance only.
The whole of the conditions complained of were abated.
SALE OF FOOD AND DRUGS ACTS.
During the year ending 3rd January, 1914, 1,155 " official " samples
were taken by the Inspectors.

105 of these samples were certified as adulterated, a percentage
of 9.1. Compared with the percentage for the previous year an increase
of 2.2 is shown.
