RAG FLOCK ACT, 1911.
Six samples of Flock were procured by the Inspector David under
the above Act during the year, 1913.
The following are the results of the analyses:—
| No. of Sample. | Description. | Parts of Soluble Chlorine found per 100,000 parts of sample. |
|---|---|---|
| 1702 | 6 ounces of Rag Flock | 10 parts |
| 1703 | do. | 55 „ |
| 1704 | do. | 20 „ |
| 1705 | do. | 20 „ |
| 1706 | do. | 5 „ |
| 1707 | do. | 5 „ |
Note-No action was taken in regard to sample No. 1703, owing to
the fact that an amount of wood shavings and other
similar substances was present in the sample. This precluded
the estimating of the actual number of parts of
Soluble Chlorine in the Rag Flock itself.
