In addition to the above 1 ton 18 cwt. 0 qrs. 81bs. of China Horsehair
was disinfected.
Retention of Bodies by undertakers.
Complaints have been made from time to time of certain undertakers
keeping upon their premises the bodies of deceased persons awaiting
burial. Inquiries were made which showed that the complaints were
well founded. Notices were served upon those undertakers in fault, and
1 am glad to say that the practice has been discontinued.
