DISINFECTION.
The number of rooms disinfected during the year was 3.238, of which
1,057 were stripped; 2,833 rooms were disinfected, and 924 rooms were
stripped in the year 1905. Disinfection has been carried out periodically
in every instance where a case of Phthisis was notified.

the authorities concerned :—
Police Station, Rodney Road :—(Scarlet Fever).
Office, Manor Place Depot:—(Verminous).
Relief Station, Borough Road :—(Diphtheria).
Relief Station, Westmoreland Road :—(Scarlet Fever).
Christchurch Schools :—4 lavatories, 4 class rooms, staircase and
corridors. (Scarlet Fever).
