Each of the above cowsheds has been liniewashed twice during the
year.
66 inspections were made during 1906, and the various premises
were, with the following exceptions, found to be in a satisfactory
condition.
Defects Discovered on Inspection:—
Overcrowding 2 cases
BAKEHOUSES.
During the year 1906, 646 inspections were made of the various
bakehouses in the Borough.
Only a few minor defects were discovered on inspection. These
were as follows:—
Bakehouses dirty, and those requiring limewashing 44 cases
Bad Ventilation 1 ,,
Ceilings, floors and walls defective 5 „
Animals kept in bakehouse 2 „
W.C.'s, yard, &c., dirty 4 „
Total 56 cases
Each bakehouse was whitewashed or the walls cleansed twice during
the year.
Certificates have been granted during the year to the undermentioned
bakehouses:—
