DISINFECTION.
The number of rooms disinfected during the year was 2.833, of which
924 were stripped; 3,141 rooms were disinfected in the year 1904. Disinfection
has been carried out periodically in every instance where a
case of Phthisis was notified.

Special disinfection was carried out, by the officials of this department
at the following premises, applications having been made to me by
the authorities concerned:—
Oicinge Street Schools:—6 class rooms (after Scarlet Fever).
Trinity Schools, Swan Street, Infants' Department:—(After Scarlet
Fever).
Hatfield Street Schools, Infants' Department:—(after Measles).
