EATING HOUSES, &c.
The Council resolved on the 27th April, 1904, that the Medical
Officer of Health should be empowered to grant certificates every three
months to the occupiers of the Eating Houses and places where food was
prepared for sale, to the effect that the premises were in a cleanly and
satisfactory condition, when such was the case. It is considered that
such a certificate will be a great incentive to the occupiers keeping the
premises in a highly creditable state.
The form of certificate that is being used is as follows:—
"Certificate for the three
Months ending

I certify that on

Dated
Mcdical Officer of Health.
The Council of the Borough have directed that a three monthly report of
the condition of all places where food is prepared shall be made."
The following table shews the number of inspections, &c., made in
relation to the Eating Houses during 1904.
