Each of the above Cowsheds has been limewashed twice during the
year.
136 inspections were made during 1904, and the various premises
were, with the following exceptions, found to be in a satisfactory
condition.

BAKEHOUSES.
During the year 1904, 439 inspections have been made of the various
bakehouses in the Borough.
Only a few minor defects were discovered on inspection, these were
as follows:—

A certificate has been granted to each of the forty-two underground
bakehouses enumerated in my Annual Report for 1903, under the Factory
and Workshops Act, 1901,
