The following Nuisances were discovered and have been
abated :—

Pound kept in foul state 1
Paving defective 1

There are seven premises in the Borough upon which noxious businesses or trades are carried on, as under : —

96 inspections of these premises have been made during the year,
and with the following exceptions the several businesses were found to be
carried on in a proper manner. The periodical limewashing has been
duly carried out.

Not keeping copper lids closed when boiling 2
Steam escaping from boiler when boiling 1
Insufficient and defective garbage vessels 2
Foul walls and floors 2
Water closet opening directly into workroom 1
Total 12
These defects have been remedied.
