Sterilised Separated Milk.
Arising from an application of a vendor to be registered for the sale
of sterilised separated milk, the Council, upon the recommendation of
the Public Health Committee, resolved that in view of the possibility of
this sterilised separated milk being used for the feeding of babies and
young children the facts be submitted to the Ministry of Health, and
Metropolitan Boroughs Standing Joint Committee, with a view to steps
being taken to have this commodity further labelled in legible type
"Unfit for babies," as already obtains in the sale of condensed and
dried skimmed milk.
A letter was received from the Ministry of Health stating “that the
representations of the Metropolitan Borough Council have been noted
with other suggestions for the amendment of the law relating to the sale
of milk."
Provision of Milk to School Children.

arranged for the taking of samples of milk from the various producers or
