of change of Ownership).
I for sale of Raw Milk in "Sealcones" (on account of change of

As a sequel to the proceedings against a milk vendor in 1934 when
the Magistrate ordered the defendants to be removed from the register
forthwith, the following applications were dealt with by the Public
Health Committee in 1935 :—
(а) Mr.D.L—— invited to attend before Committee to show cause
why his application for registration as a milk vendor should not be refused.
He did not appear before the Committee and his application was refused.
He did not appeal.
(b) In March, Mr. D. S-(who, in 1934, was refused registration)
made a new application for registration. He was invited to attend before
the Public Health Committee to show cause why his application should
not be refused, and after interview the Committee resolved to refuse
registration. Mr.S- did not appeal against this decision.
During the 21 days allowed for appeal, this man was caught selling
milk in the Borough. In view of the fact that the Magistrate had dismissed
Mr.S- 's previous appeal and the applicant had not appealed against
the Public Health Committee's last decision, the Committee resolved to
institute proceedings for trading without being registered.
He was fined £1 and £3 3s.od.costs or 10 days' imprisonment.
(c) Mr.A.F- was invited to appear before the Public Health
Committee to show cause why his application should not be refused.
Mr.F- failed to attend before the Committee and his application was
refused. No appeal was made against this decision.
(d) Mi.M.S- appealed against conviction of Magistrate at Old
Street Police Court when, on 26th November, 1934, he was fined £50 and
ordered to pay £52 10s.od. costs. Heard at London Sessions—Appeal
dismissed and Council granted 15 guineas costs.
