OPHTHALMIA NEONATORUM.
Cases of this disease are visited immediately after notification. A
complete summary of cases notified and visited is given in the Section of
this report dealing with Maternity and Child Welfare. In cases of true
Ophthalmia Neonatorum every endeavour is made to secure the removal
to hospital of the patient and mother.
