Notifications; Institutions; Errors in Diagnosis; Infectious
Diseases in Milk Shop's and on Homeworkers' Premises.
Notifications.
There were 822 notifications of infectious diseases in Poplar, 861 in
Bromley, and 531 in Bow, making a total of 2,214 for the Borough of
Poplar; these do not include 46 second notifications.
In the above figures no deductions have been made for cases removed
to the Metropolitan Asylums Board's hospitals, which were afterwards
certified as not having a notifiable disease.
