TOWN PLANNING.—Four hundred and forty-seven (388) applications
under the Town and Country Planning Acts for the conversion
and alteration of premises, change of use or continuation of
consent were referred to the Department for examination and
comment.
LAND CHARGES.—Some 1,948 (2,217) enquiries on matters in
connection with the registered statutory charges under the Land
Charges Act, 1952 were dealt with by the Department during the
year.
