The London County Council have rehoused the tenants from
the Sparta Street Areas and have cleared the site prior to the
erection of several blocks of tenements.
Closing Orders Prohibiting the Use of Part of a Building
for Human Habitation.
The following is a list of premises which were represented
under Section 12 of the Housing Act, 1936, in respect of underground
rooms or part of the premises, and subsequently formed the
subject of a Closing Order : —
56, Campshill Road.
Colonnade House Garage, Paragon Place.
45, Tranquil Vale.
1, 11 and 12, Rennell Street.
The following premises were also represented, but were subsequently
put into repair and rendered habitable : —
4, Thornford Road.
4, Ringstead Road.
48c, Mount Pleasant Road.
16, Wisteria Road.
