[Report of the Medical Officer of Health for Lewisham Borough]

Post-Natal Clinic.—This Clinic has been held throughout the
year on Tuesday mornings, and 228 mothers attended for a postnatal
examination.
Downham Ante-natal Clinic.—This Clinic is held at the Downham
Health Centre on one morning each week. During the year
130 women attended, the total attendances amounting to 345.
Eleven women attended for a post-natal examination.
Clinics for Mothers and Infants.
These Clinics are held at the Lewisham Health Centre on four
mornings each week, and at the Downham Health Centre on two
mornings each week.
Each Clinic is attended by one of the Maternity and Child
Welfare Officers, and by two Health Visitors.
At the Lewisham Centre the attendances of infants numbered
8,790, there being 1,652 children on the Register, and at the
Downham Centre there were 3,588 attendances, and 670 children on
the Register.
