Efficiency of Notification.—The ratio of non-notified tuberculosis
deaths to total tuberculosis deaths was one in eleven.
It was not necessary to take any action in regard to the nonnotification
of tuberculosis during the year.
Public Health (Prevention of Tuberculosis) Regulations, 1925.—
No action was taken under the above Regulations, which relate to
tuberculosis employees in the milk trade.
Tuberculosis Dispensary.—During the year under review the
Council's Dispensary was situated at 47, Catford Hill, S.E.6.

REPORT OF THE TUBERCULOSIS OFFICER FOR 1935.
The primary notifications of tuberculosis for 1935 numbered
347, of which 281 were of pulmonary tuberculosis and 66 of other
forms of tuberculosis.
During the year 131 persons died from pulmonary tuberculosis
and 16 died from other forms of tuberculosis.
The death rate from pulmonary tuberculosis was 0.58 per 1,000
inhabitants. An exactly similar rate was recorded in 1934.
Cases on Register.—The number of cases on the Town Hall
register on December 31st, 1935, was 1,538, comprising 1,185 cases
of pulmonary tuberculosis and 353 cases of non-pulmonary tuberculosis.
The number of cases on the Dispensary register was 975, of
which 805 were of pulmonary and 170 of non-pulmonary tuberculosis.
Attendance of Patients.—During the year the new patients who
attended the Dispensary numbered 659 and the total attendances were
